Mass-produced textiles overshadow this unique art form. Moreover, limited exposure and lack of market access threaten its sustainability.

Naga handicrafts are fading as traditional knowledge is lost with older generations. The labor-intensive process makes it difficult to compete in a fast-paced market. Environmental changes have limited access to raw materials like bamboo and cane. Additionally, insufficient platforms to showcase these crafts hinder their growth.
